"The beauty of life is found in the unexpected"

I am your typical type-A, nuerotic, over caffenieted mother to an angel and two toddlers.  I grew up in Sacramento, CA and completely planned out my life.  I was a raw foodist preparing to quit my job and apply to medical school, graduate and start a career, marry, and have a family.  

I met my husband at a nightclub responsible adult gathering and due to large amounts of alcohol consumption we had instant chemistry.  I soon found myself moving, a carnivore, a full time computer geek marketing consultant preparing for our first child.  For reasons we will never know, our boy #1 was born stillborn in 2008.
I learned to find beauty in the moment, to surround myself with inspiring things, and to prioritize family. Soon after our lost, we were blessed with boy #2, and now also have girl #1.  I have realized that life is full of suprises that bring us adventure, purpose, and joy.  In this journey, we are all searching for hope and inspiration, in hopes of finding our own olive-branch.
